Reduce the opening time of your page, applying these 7 basic rules:

1- Use just important METATAGS for the indexation of the Site/Blog. Most important METATAGS are Metatag Title (name of the site), Description (description of the site, content for the searches) and Keywords.Other important metatags are the verification of search motors (Google, Yahoo,etc) and the metatag robots.

2- Eliminate the white spaces in the code of the template. It's true! the spaces in white of the template occupy space in the file.

3- Leave the codes in javascript in external (out of the template) files. Instead of adding the codes javascript in the section HEAD of the template, add external pages. This contributes so that Site / Blog loads more quickly.

4- Use the bar "/" in the end of the addresses URL. This tip seems simple but it makes a great difference. Open a Site with http://TheFreedom.co.nr/ will open faster than http://TheFreedom.co.nr

5- Always define the height and width of the Images. Inserting an image in a Site/Blog without the attributes of WIDTH and HEIGHT forces to who navigates to "calculate" those measured, leaving the slower load of pages. Always define those parameters inside of the tag IMG SRV and see your Site/Blog will load in a faster way!

6- Use miniatures in the images. Using images in miniatures lets the Blog with a more professional look and it allows the opening of the pages to be made in a faster way. If the reader wants to visualize the image in real size, just click on the miniature. Blogger and WordPress have support for the use of miniatures. If you intend to show the image with his real size, use the function "Resize" in an editor like Photoshop, Infarview, etc...

7- Do not to use Flash. Flash effect can be very funny but is realy necessary? Remember that the use of this type of animations "Consumes" space turning the site "heaviest".
