A lot of people try to put subtitles in movies that download from the net and after downloading, also, the legends, they see that after all that they are not sincronized with the movie. Or they begin later or earlier than the speeches. In some cases it begins well, but at the end of the film it already takes an enormous delay.

I discovered a very nice program to make subtitle synchronization and has less than 1 mb of size.

It is very simple of using, and it doesn't just serve for synchronizing the legends. It also can join them, separate them, etc.

I show below the 5 basic steps to synchronize them and at the bottom you just have to click in the name of the program to Download it:

1- When opening the program, open the legend. It will open a page with the legend. Select the icon to SYNCHRONIZE. (The small clock on top of the image)

2- Choose a line from the beginning. If you already know the exact time that she's spoken, arrange the time in the side window (in "Enter the NEW time for that line"). Otherwise, click in "Or use the player of AVI to tell me this line").

3- If you opened the player of AVI, you also need to choose the file of the movie. Open him and it will start. As soon as the part where the sub should begin to be spoken, click in "The line below is playing NOW." You can put the movie in slow motion, to be more precise.

4- Click OK. Now you have to make right the last subtitle of the film. Repeat the procedure of the step 3. Click OK again when it finished.

5- Click OK once again, and it's ready! The subtitle will already be perfectly synchronized. I already tested with several movies and the result was always the best. Very superior to the old system that I did manually with Subtitle Workshop of adjusting practically the entire subtitle. (Of course SW is still my favorite subtitle editor).
